XCOM 2 released for PC, Linux, and Mac on February 5.
The albums are pressed on 180-gram heavyweight vinyl, which makes the records "less prone to warping over time." Prague-based designer Filip Hodas created the album art, which evokes XCOM 2's box art with its human and Sectoid skulls.
The expected ship date for the record is Q2 2016. Priced at $35 USD, the vinyl will come packaged with the digital soundtrack as well. The 2xLP is a collaboration between iam8bit, 2K, and Firaxis, and features composers Michael McCann, Roland Rizzo, and Tim Wynn.
